This privacy policy explains how personal data is processed in connection with lamprostrading.de and when contacting Lampros Trading.

2. Legal bases and retention

We process personal data to perform a contract or take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), to comply with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR), on the basis of consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), or to pursue legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The relevant legitimate interest is described below.

We retain data only for as long as it is needed for the relevant purpose. It is then deleted unless statutory retention obligations or other lawful reasons require or permit further storage. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Contact details associated with enquiries and e-book requests are retained only for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry, provide the requested e-book, or manage any resulting contractual contact. They are then deleted unless statutory retention obligations or other lawful reasons justify further storage.

3. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you have the right of access (Article 15), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), and data portability (Article 20). To exercise your rights, contact us using the details above.

Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of Article 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you may object under Article 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object to processing for direct marketing at any time.

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or the alleged infringement (Article 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for our location in North Rhine-Westphalia is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia: www.ldi.nrw.de.

4. Hosting and technical operation

We use IONOS for hosting and sending emails. The provider is IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. Data necessary to operate the website and transmit emails is processed in this context. Provider information is available at IONOS data protection.

When you visit the website, technically necessary connection data is processed, including your IP address, time of access, requested page, browser and operating system information, and, where applicable, the previously visited page. This processing supports the availability, stability, and security of the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure operation of our website.

The website uses HTTPS/TLS to encrypt the connection. This reduces transmission risks but does not provide absolute protection against all security risks.

5. Enquiries and free introductory calls

For enquiries submitted through the form, by email, or by telephone, we process your contact details and the content of your enquiry. The introductory call form collects your first name, last name, email address, an optional telephone number, trading experience, goals, and topics you would like to discuss.

We use this information to handle your enquiry, arrange an appointment, and prepare for the call. Where your enquiry concerns a contractual service, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other enquiries are handled on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is appropriate communication. Where consent is obtained for particular processing activities, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR is the legal basis.

The contact form is processed by a custom WordPress form function. The enquiry is emailed to Lampros Trading, and the person making the enquiry receives a confirmation email in the language of the form page used. WP Mail SMTP and IONOS are used to send emails.

6. E-book and trading self-assessment

The e-book form collects your name and email address to provide the requested e-book. The trading self-assessment on the home page asks about your situation and goals.

No newsletters or advertising emails are sent following an e-book request. According to the website operator, no external payment or course platforms are used.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Section 25 of the German TDDDG applies to storing or accessing information on your device. Consent is not required where storage or access is solely for transmitting a communication, or is strictly necessary to provide a digital service expressly requested by you (Section 25(2) TDDDG). Other access generally requires your consent under Section 25(1) TDDDG. The legal bases of the GDPR additionally apply to any associated processing of personal data.

8. Fonts

A technical check identified connections to Google Fonts for Roboto, Roboto Slab, Inter, and Inter Tight. When fonts are retrieved externally, connection data, particularly your IP address, is transmitted to Google.

9. Zoom calls

Zoom is provided by Zoom Communications, Inc., 55 Almaden Blvd, Suite 600, San Jose, CA 95113, USA. Its use may involve processing personal data outside the European Economic Area. Information on the safeguards and transfer bases provided by Zoom is available in the provider’s privacy statement linked below.

We use Zoom for introductory calls and coaching sessions. The Zoom buttons on our website are external links to the Zoom join page. Clicking opens Zoom’s website; it does not automatically start a meeting.

Participation may involve processing your display name, email address where applicable, IP address, device and connection data, and any audio, video, chat, or screen content you share. The data involved depends on your participation and the functions used. Processing to conduct agreed calls is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Further provider information: Zoom Privacy Statement.

We do not record our Zoom calls. Automatic transcription and Zoom AI Companion are disabled.

10. External links and WhatsApp

Our website links to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and WhatsApp. Opening these links takes you away from our website; the respective provider processes data according to its own privacy information. A link is distinct from embedded content or a tracking pixel.

We use the regular WhatsApp application, not WhatsApp Business. If you contact us through WhatsApp, we process the contact details and messages you provide to handle your enquiry. You may also contact us by email or telephone. WhatsApp information: Privacy policy for the European Region.
